Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility of Ms. Tuba Kizilkaya
From April 30 to May 2, 2024, we hosted Ms. Tuba Kizilkaya, PhD - academic teacher at the Department of Midwifery of the Balikesir University, Turkey. The purpose of the visit was to conduct classes on aromatherapy in the perinatal period with students of the Department of Midwifery. During her stay at AB, Ms. Kizilkaya got familiar with the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center and the Obstetric Simulation Center, as well as paid a visit to selected wards of the hospital in Biala Podlaska.

Prof. Makreta Draganova's Staff Training Mobility
From April 29 to May 3, 2024, we hosted prof. Makreta Draganova - academic teacher at the Department of Nursing of the Medical University of Pleven, Bulgaria. The purpose of the training visit was to get familiar with the Monoprofile Medical Simulation Center and the Obstetric Simulation Center, as well as a visit to selected wards of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of simulation training.

Erasmus+ Grant Agreement 2022 - call for additional staff mobilities
We would like to inform you that our application for additional Erasmus+ funds under the 2022 agreement has been accepted, and the University will receive funding for the implementation of 22 additional staff mobilities for a total amount of EUR 29,075! Due to the above, we are announcing the recruitment of applications on a continuous basis, i.e. until the pool of allocated funds is exhausted.

Visit of Salih Tosun, PhD of the Balikesir University, Turkey
This week we had the pleasure of hosting Mr. Salih Tosun, PhD academic teacher at the Department of Emergency Medical Services at Balikesir University in Turkey. Mr. Tosun had the opportunity to participate in first aid classes conducted with the students of the Academic Secondary School of Genereal Education, as well as in classes for students of the Department of Emergency Medical Services.

Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility at Mabalacat City College, Philippines
From today, for the next week - our teachers: Beata Wołosiuk and Edyta Borys-Frończuk from the Department of Pedagogy, and Anita Borys-Nagórko from the Foreign Languages Department, are carrying out an Erasmus+ teaching mobility at the partner university Mabalacat City College in Mabalacat, Philippines. A detailed report on their mobility and an outline of activities that were carried out will be published next week!

Erasmus+ Staff Training visit of prof. R. Bernatova
Last week we hosted prof. Renata Bernatová, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Prešov in Slovakia. The aim of the visit was to get acquainted with the structure, activities, educational offer and scientific and research potential of the Department of Pedagogy of our university. Additionally, Ms. Bernatova met with the Vice-Rector for Science, Ph.D. Agnieszka Siedlecka, prof. AB, to discuss opportunities for joint international and research collaboration.
